COLLECTABLE Raised Pillar Leonard 3" RHW Trout Fly Reel

Here we have for sale is a spactular vintage Raised Pillar Leonard Trout fly reel, Right Hand Line, measuring 3" in diameter, with the classic crank handle, a smooth alloy foot. 5 raised pillars, black side plated, an ebonite crank handle, with rear drag lever, and comes with the purple sack as seen in the photos. The reel in spactular condition is ready to go fishing or add to that vintage fly reel collection to be placed in a prominent position to the envy of all onlookers. The spool is loaded with a sink tip line that the former owner just loaded onto the reel and never put a leader or tippet on. It looks unused. The reel is without injury, repair or wobble, with a loud firm click drag.
One could only imagine the noise from this loud click drag as a fish attempts to flee to freedom, if only the reel could speak.
Please do not confuse this reel from other retailers who 'might' be selling reproductions. This reel is NOT a reproduction. It is an original antique raised pillar Leonard reel. The nock-offs have new rounded head screws. The original (observe the screw heads) - this reel- has flat headed screws. Further, the nock-offs have improperly positioned drill holes.  However subtle - fake news and fake reels are fakes!!!
For the trout/salmon fisherperson who wants to own the best classic trout/salmon fly reel that money can buy!  As this is a rare size, there will be no more.
The D shape leather reel case, as seen in the photos, goes with the reel.
The reel is a very rare model as very few were ever made in the 3" size.
