Hardy Bros. Ltd. L.R.H. Fly Reel RHW L-shaped line guard from the 50s

For your consideration is an early Hardy Bros. Ltd. L.R.H. Fly Reel RHW with L-shaped line guard from the 50s. This reel is NOT convertible to LHW. The is an ideal classic reel to fish with if you wind with your right hand. The foot was shortened ever so slightly on one side and the foot was remounted using Hardy rivets. The smooth foot is tight, the spool winds smoothly, the drag works as it should. The reel shows signs of use, but is ready for another 70 years of fishing. This size is ideal for a 4 - 5wt and will balance bamboo or fiberglass rods from 7' - 8' or longer with weight added.
The reel will be packed in bubble wrap and shipped fully insured.
