    Description

KNIVES OF ALASKA brings us the 8 1/4" JAEGER STAG HANDLE FIXED BLADE KNIFE model # 115FG. THE KNIFE I CARRY. We just got in another order we have 26 of these knives now 7/11/21 and we sold the knife in the pic's on 10/2/21 so we need to update the pic's, no matter what you will still get a great knife and it could look even better than what you see, if it bothers you not being able to see the exact knife please do not buy one. We will try to update the pic's as soon as we can. we will have one other listed as of now we have 21 in stock that should tell you how fast these can go.
We set the pictures so you can see the overall knife then the handle & blade plus check out the leather sheath you'll get, even the sheath is nicer than any I've ever seen, in my opinion, this is the best size and weight out of all of the Knives of Alaska to carry this is only my opinion. I don't know about you but I normally have more then what I really need for a day hunt so having an 8 1/4" knife weighing 7 to 8oz. is perfect for me. You can also get a Jaeger with a black sure-grip handle 113FG. We have already sold 8 in 30 days of the 115FG.
Lastly, K.O.A. just had their 2020/ now 2021 price increase and I am working on updating the pricing, it is not much 3 to 5 dollars is the average increase but they also lowered the cost of 15 of their knives so not all bad news. Plus with stag being so hard for manufactures to get (climate change ) has affected Deer too, if you have not noticed in the last year 34 companies have gone out of business and the rest are mainly making G10 handles. So to find a stag handle with nice natural color today isn't easy yet K.O.A. has come through please view the 12 pictures of your next knife.
115FG you'll see some have a thicker white handle K.O.A. uses Caribou Antlers too, they use different types of stag,- Deer, Red stag, Black Tail, Mule,  & Caribou, Moose, antlers when they make these knives, the handles made with Caribou are bigger than the stag handle but don't have the color. I honestly don't look at all of the knives when we get an order,- but we have changed how we sell now the knife you see could be an example of the knife you get many buyers didn't like how we were selling and said item not as described killing our rating,  EBay with policy changes and buyers that didn't like what we shipped them well now that counts against me so now I can't ship you a better-looking knife then what you see for the same amount of money and I know many of you liked that way of selling its always a great feeling to get a nicer looking knife then what is in the listing, but that will be no more.
MANY OF THE KNIVES (STAG ) YOU SEE WILL BE EXMAPLES OF WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE, UNLESS YOU SEE THIS.- UPDATE,- 5/17/21 THE KNIFE YOU SEE YOU WILL RECEIVE.
SO FAR ALL OF THE KNIVES WE GOT ON OUR LAST ORDER LOOK LIKE THIS, WITH STAG BEING SO HARD TO GET TODAY AND WILL GET WORST CLIMATE CHANGE HAS MESSED UP DEER TO DROPPING THEIR RACKS EARLIER MAKING THE ANTLERS BRITTLE IS NO GOOD FOR HANDLES SPLINTERS, THAT IS WHY 34 COMPANIES HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINEESS IN 2019, &2020.
This Stag Jaeger is super Sharp and Strong, one of if not the best knife I have in this size.
These are a series of superior knives to start with they are 100% made in America, using all American parts. They are completely Hand-Made by Americans, these knives are considered " FINEST QUALITY OUTDOORSMEN'S KNIVES " In my opinion, the Knives of Alaska are the best knives I sell.
    Here are several quotes about
" KNIVES OF ALASKA, great for any hunter, anywhere "- Safari Times,
" Thoughtfully designed for the serious outdoorsman. "- Knife World.
" The Sharpest, Toughest, Longest Lasting Edge " - Brigham Young University
"At last a true Innovation" Guns Magazine.
The Jeager has become my favorite knife of the Knives of Alaska series, I love the size and weight, yes at one time I carried the larger knives as I've gotten older I started to lighten the load from what  I was carrying plus there isn't any task this knife can't handle.
The JAEGER Knife is made using D2 High Carbon Tool Steel;  RC; 59-61  As of now we have more knives made using D2 Steel THE BLADE /STEEL INDEX  has D2 in the BEST Category for Superior hardness and Edge Longevity / Retention only S30V S.S. alloy rates this high. The stag handle is a must-see they cut finger grooves into the handle and yet it is smooth no splintering perfect.
When we order knives they are made per order so it can take 30 to 60 days to get them, I already have another order in and each time we get an order we place another one,- why it takes on average 30- to- 60 days to receive your order,-why all of the knives that we order get made when ordered Knives of Alaska has no knives sitting on their shelf they are the only company I know of that makes knives as ordered, and these knives sell themselves. I now have many great brands of knives in our inventory but my opinion is the Knives of Alaska and the Linder Line are the best and we have some great competition to compare them against.
Each year Hundreds of knife companies send their new products to " FIELD & STREAM MAGAZINE " to be reviewed and only the top-performing items are granted the "Best of the Best" designation well look at this,-F.&.S.M. -  Has Found Knives of Alaska rated BEST  OF THE BEST Knives for 2007, 2008, 2009 ,2013. & 2016, and now 2019 too, plus 5 other K.O.A. knives just won 3 more awards for 2021.
