    Description

    Horton Mfg. Co. Bristol No. 67 single action fly reel featuring two-tone gray finish, single black handle grasp, silent retrieve, and rim mounted tension knob.  Reel foot is marked Bristol No. 67 - The Horton Mfg. Co. - Bristol, Conn. U.S.A. Reel is in used condition with substantial surface wear as seen in the pics.  Appears to be set up for right hand retrieve and measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.  Mechanically there are a couple stick spots on retrieve, and when reeling backward the spool gets stuck in one spot.  This reel was only available in the Horton catalogs for a very short time spanning 1948-51.
