Pflueger No. 1494 Medalist fly casting reel 1959 Diamolite line guard Akron Ohio

For sale is a
Pflueger No. 1494 Medalist fly casting reel.
Based on the markings and information from flyanglersonline.com this was made in 1959.
It is in very good condition.
It has a box with it but I believe it is not the original box.
The box said 1495 and that was crossed out and 1494 was written in.
The box says copyright 1965 and is stamped Packed 1 1966, but I believe this to have been made in 1959.
Made in Akron, Ohio.
I am not an expert on this. I am basing my information on a website.
