Pre-Pro Crown Distillers Company Amber California Whiskey
This pre-Prohibition California whiskey is lightly embossed on the base with the initials PCGW standing for Pacific Coast Glass Works (1902-1924). It bears a tooled lip and stands about 11 1/2 inches tall. The original inside-thread stopper is present and embossed with the company name. This example is very clean and we find no chips or cracks. One exterior surface bubble which has lost its outer skin is present on the reverse - please see photos. A nice company logo with monogram and crown add to the appeal of this old whiskey.
