Sage Model 108M fly reel by Redditch w/extra spool and soft case

Description

This reel and spool has been on the shelf for over 20 years without use.  Though there is backing and line on both spools but they have been wound on the reel for those 20+ years!  I just took both spools out into the yard on an 8wt rod and the reel seems to still work well.  I have it set up for Left hand retrieve.
The spools have the finish discoloring/scraping off and I am sure there are dings and cosmetic issues elsewhere.  I was a madman fly fisher in the 90s and fished more than most people do in their lifetimes.  But life changed and I stopped entirely.  In the 20 years these have been sitting I have not lubed them, nor have I cared for the line.  The line cast quite nicely just now, btw so this line might be great for practice!  I wouldn't trust it to waters with the possibility of hooking the fish of a lifetime!  I don't think the spool line labels are correct, one is definitely a weight

that click sounds really nice!  I have not heard that sound in ages and just stringing up a rod and giving it a cast brought back loads of happy memories.  Oh, and also in this set is a soft case as shown in the pictures!
