The Sheffield Destroyer Series 12140 Fletcher 12" Tanto Machete is the ultimate survival multi-tool, preparing you for battle against the elements and anything else you may encounter. The Fletcher machete has it all and then some, making it the perfect companion when you're out in the field. Its tanto blade edge is ideal for piercing, scraping, can opening, and other precision cutting applications. A serrated edge near the handle provides high leverage for sawing branches, twigs, and other obstacles in your way. The top of the edge is designed to chop limbs, head fish or game, and slice and dice meat. A gut hook provides added functionality in the field. The Sheffield Destroyer Series offers a versatile selection without compromising in quality, with designs inspired by the hard angles of naval destroyers. The embodiment of power and strength, the Destroyer Series machetes feature 420 Stainless Steel blades with a black oxide bond, above military-grade 1680D sheaths, and a unique aggressively-scalloped ABS/TPR handle that guards against slippage while providing the ultimate in bushwhacking comfort. Blade length: 12". Overall length: 18". Blade material: 420 Stainless steel. Handle material: ABS/TPR. Comes complete with a Nylon sheath.
