    Description

    FIN-NOR
    "Wedding Cake" - No.3
~ Salt Water Fly Fishing Reel ~
    For your consideration:  A Vintage Fin-Nor No.3
    "Wedding Cake"
    salt water fly fishing reel.
The legendary Fin-Nor "Wedding Cake" fly reel was
    designed
by Gar Wood Jr. and was the first fly reel
    built
    especially
    for
    salt water fly fishing.
The reel originally came in four sizes
    with the No.3
size being the most versatile as it could be used
    for
tarpon, snook, bonefish, permit, sailfish and just about
any other species of salt water gamefish.
This particular No.3 is serial number 723 and it is in
    very good
lightly used condition showing only some
    good honest in use
    wear.
    This reel is in great
    mechanical condition
    with its strong
smooth drag it is ready to fish.
    The reel is set
    up for left hand
    wind,
    however,
if you prefer a right hand wind
    reel, the
    Wedding
Cake reels are made to be
    reversible and can
    be
    easily
    switched to left
    hand wind
    if an angler so desires.
The reel turns smoothly with no catches or
    hang-ups and
    has
a built in click that is
loud and strong.  With all its
    original
screws and a full length foot, this example
is ready to fish or worthy of any fly reel
collection.  The name tag on the reel
    reads -
    John Kutter
