Up for auction is a scarce stock certificate from the Westbrook and Gladwin Rural Telephone Company, Limited. Theodore, Saskatchewan, Canada. Unissued.
Condition is Very Good. Folds, vertical folds are bit heavy with fold tears, some wear overall. Tears at bottom edge. Please see the photos.
Interesting old telephone vignette. A notice in The Saskatchewan Gazette from 1914 states, “Regina, Friday, May 8, 1914. Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of The Rural Telephone Act, the Local Government Board has authorised The Westbrook and Gladwin Rural Telephone Company to borrow the sum of five thousand two hundred dollars for the purpose of constructing the said company's proposed system.”
